A mixed lot of five decorations and coins, including a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross overlaid by a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 31.98 mm in width,, weighing 12.7 grams, with oxidation evident, in very fine condition; a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of zink, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and with crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 49.31 mm (w) x 49.69 mm (h), weighing 20.9 grams, the suspension loop is missing and there is loss of finish throughout, in fair condition; an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered and patinated zink, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), above a crossed sword and laurel branch, topped by a Stahlhelm and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 35.98 mm (w) x 44.04 mm (h), weighing 19.6 grams, missing its suspension loop and with loss of finish evident, in fair condition; a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, unmarked, measuring 37.17 mm (w) x 44.53 mm (h), weighing 11.3 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish throughout, in poor condition; also including two 1939 5 Reichsmark coins, each measuring 29 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
