(Abzeichen und Medaillen). A mixed lot of four service decorations, including a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “65” for Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, measuring 44.26 mm (w) x 48.00 mm (h), weighing 18.3 grams, with oxidation evident to the core, in very fine condition; a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENSTE 1939”, unmarked, measuring 32.15 mm in diameter, weighing 13.2 grams, in extremely fine condition; a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with LDO code “L/11” for Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 36.85 mm (w) x 44.53 mm (h), weighing 11.7 grams, with minor loss of finish evident, in extremely fine condition, and; a Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Decoration, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black swastika, the reverse bearing a central inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 40.88 mm (w) x 46.27 mm (h), weighing 21.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a two-piece card stock frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a silvered number “25” within a cogwheel, the interior with a red felt lid liner and slotted medal bed, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 15 mm (h), with material fatigue evident throughout the case, in overall near extremely fine condition.
