What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A mixed lot of four service medals, including a bar featuring two decorations, with a Cross for Voluntary War Aid, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the reverse bearing a central inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-HILFSDIENST” (“FOR WAR AID”), unmarked, measuring 41.95 mm (w) x 42.15 mm (h), weighing 16.7 grams, with some oxidation evident, in very fine condition, and; a Wehrmacht 12-Year Long Service Medal, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE IN DER WEHRMACHT” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE WEHRMACHT”), the reverse bearing a wreathed number “12”, unmarked, measuring 30.02 mm in diameter, weighing 11.9 grams, in near extremely fine condition; both suspended from an 80 mm-long bronze bar with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, in very fine condition; a Sudetenland Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broke chain, aboe a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central date of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.05 mm in diameter, weighing 13.1 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 48.23 mm (w) x 48.74 mm (h), weighing 22.8 grams, accompanied by its period original package of issue, constructed of light brown paper stock, the exterior bearing an inscription of “KRIEGSVERDIENSTKREUZ II. KLASSE MIT SCHWERTERN” and a maker’s mark of “CARL POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 103 mm (w) x 130 mm (h), also accompanied by a matching ribbon bar, set on a 25 mm-long magnetic metal core, unmarked, the decoration demonstrating minor oxidation, in overall near extremely fine condition.
