Germany, Wehrmacht. A Pair of Relic Decorations
(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A pair of Wehrmacht relic decorations, including an Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, maker marked with the logo of Gebrüder Schneider, Vienna, measuring 47.65 mm (w) x 63.40 mm (h), weighing 31.6 grams, the swastika has been ground out and there is some oxidation and loss of finish throughout the badge, in fair condition, and; a Day Fighter Flying Clasp, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, joined at the bottom by a swastika, around an upward-pointing winged arrow, flanked on one side by nine oak leaves, unmarked, measuring 50.60 mm (w) x 25.93 mm (h), weighing 10. grams, the right side oak leaves have been broken off and the clasp is missing its catch apparatus, in poor condition.
