(Dienstabzeichen). A pair of Wehrmacht service badges, including an Infantry Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a block hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 47.02 mm (w) x 63.12 mm (h), weighing 21.5 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition, and; a Kriegsmarine Destroyer War Badge, constructed of gilded and patinated feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, topped by a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with a central depiction of a destroyer cutting through waves, with its bow extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Rudolf Souval, Vienna, measuring 44.70 mm (w) x 53.25 mm (h), weighing 21.7 grams, with evidence of catch repair and refinishing, in overall very fine condition.
