(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A pair of service badges, including an Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a ball hinge and flat wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Josef Feix & Söhne, Gablonz, measuring 48.35 mm (w) x 62.02 mm (h), weighing 27.7 grams, the badge is missing its pinback and there is some oxidation and loss of finish throughout, in overall fair condition, and; a Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a central square oak leaf wreath, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, flanked on each side by three oak leaves and sun rays with acorns, the reverse with a barrel hinge, maker marked “C.E. JUNCKER, BERLIN”, measuring 96.48 mm (w) x 25.52 mm (h), weighing 25.5 grams, the clasp is missing its pinback, catch, and backplate, with oxidation and loss of finish throughout, in overall poor condition.
