A pair of Wound Badges, including a black grade award, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath, with a central Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, marked with code “L/11” for maker Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 36.69 mm (w) x 45.30 mm (h), weighing 12.6 grams, in very fine condition, and; a silver grade award, constructed of silvered zink, of identical appearance, the reverse marked with code “107” for maker Carl Wild, Hamburg, measuring 36.82 mm (w) x 44.28 mm (h), weighing 26.7 grams, in very fine condition.
