A grouping of two second war German awards, consisting of 1) A Silver Grade Tank badge “Panzerkampfabzeichen”; oval shaped silvered zinc; the obverse with a border of oak leaves with a tie at the base and a Panzerkampfwagen IV superimposed in the centre on grassy ground, with the left tank track extending over the edge of the badge; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, sheet metal hinge, and a round wire catch; maker marked “RRS” for “Rudolf Richter von Schlag”; measuring 60.11 mm x 41.81 mm; weighing 34.5 grams, and 2) A Silver Grade Close Combat Clasp “Nahkampfspange”; in silvered curved zink; the obverse with a national eagle and a bayonet and hand grenade in the centerpiece, with sun rays emanating from the centre of the left and right sides, and with four oak leaves and two acorns on each side; the reverse plain, missing its square magnetic backing plate; horizontal pinback with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch on the reverse; maker marked “RS” for “Rudolf Souval, Wien”; measuring 96.94 mm x 26.02 mm; weighing 35.3 grams; near very fine condition.
