What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Kriegsmarine Officer's Shoulder Board (two rows of gold-coloured bullion wire interlaced with yellow threading and gilt anchor insignia affixed to the navy blue cotton upper, bronze button affixed to the upper via a post with base on the reverse and maker marked "ASSMANN & SÖHNE LÜDENSCHEID", 53 mm x 118 mm); "10" Regiment Shoulder Board (fine silvered aluminum wire interlaced with brown and white threading, "1" and "0" forming the number "10", along with gilt pips flanking the numbering affixed to the upper, sides and underside in white wool, strap in navy blue wool affixed to the underside, 33 mm x 130 mm); Army (Heer) "15" Regiment Shoulder Board (silvered wire strip interlaced with white threading on all four sides, sewn in place upon the army green wool upper, silvered "1" and "5" forming the number "15", along with a silvered pip affixed to the upper, sides trimmed in white wool, army green wool underside, severed at the neck end, 37 mm x 100 mm); Army (Heer) Leutnant - Feldgendarmerie Shoulder Board (four rows of fine silvered aluminum wire wrapped around a white cord, wrapped in a u-shape, in a chevron formation, button hole for uniform attachment, red wool piping on three sides, gray wool sides and underside, severed at the neck end, 36 mm x 110 mm); along with two other Shoulder Boards (one has two rows of green embroidery flanked by a row of fine silvered aluminum wire on either side, wrapped in a u-shape, button hole for uniform attachment, strap in forest green wool affixed to the underside, 20 mm x 102 mm; the other in gold-coloured bullion wire interlaced with black threading, wrapped in a u-shape, in a chevron formation, with matching knotted slider, severed at the neck end, 10 mm x 130 mm).
