Germany. A Mixed Lot of Badges and Insignia
(Abzeichen und Insignien). A mixed lot of four badges and insignia, including a Bavarian Warriors Association Honour Cross, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, vertical pinback, the reverse maker marked “DESCHLER, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 42 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), with minor flecking of enamels evident, in near extremely fine condition; a 1936 Bayerischen-Ostmark Gau meeting badge, constructed of porcelain, the reverse maker marked “HUTSCHENREUTHER SELB, BAVARIA”, measuring 44 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), missing its pinback, in very fine condition; an Ordnungspolizei EM/NCO’s cap insignia, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered blue trapezoid overlaid by a silver-grey Ordnungspolizei insignia in the form of an oval oak leaf wreath bearing a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 56 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in unissued and extremely fine condition, and; a second Ordnungspolizei EM/NCO’s cap insignia, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Ordnungspolizei insignia in the form of an oval oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in unissued and extremely fine condition.
