Germany. A Mixed Lot of Cap Insignia
(Mützenabzeichen). A mixed lot of five insignia, including a Wehrmacht visor cap wreath, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse retaining three of four attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), in very fine condition; a NSDAP visor cap cockade, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, the reverse with both attachment prongs intact, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/52” for Deschler & Sohn, Munich, measuring 24 mm in diameter, in very fine condition; a tram operator cap insignia, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), with total loss of silver finish evident, in very fine condition, and; two Imperial-era State Railway badges, each constructed of silvered bronze, both retaining all reverse attachment prongs, unmarked, and measuring 56 mm (w) x 26 mm (h), with moderate loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition.
