Germany, Heer. A Mixed Lot of Heer Uniform Insignia
(Heer Insignien). A mixed lot of three Heer uniform insignia, including an Officer’s cap wreath and cockade, constructed of padded dark green wool, the obverse bearing hand-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia, unmarked, measuring 73 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), the reverse liner has separated, in fair condition; a Gefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a single silver aluminum wire chevron, unmarked, measuring 86 mm (w) x 74 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; an Obergefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of a dark green rayon backer, the obverse bearing two silver aluminum wire chevrons, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 75 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
