What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A group of eight Second War period uniform insignia, including a Feuerschutzpolizei (Fire Protection Police) Meister shoulder board, constructed of carmine wool with a cardboard reinforcement, bearing multiple bands of silver aluminum wire piping interwoven with black threading, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), in near very fine condition; a Feuerschutzpolizei Glimbach sleeve patch, constructed of black wool, bearing a machine-embroidered carmine Police insignia, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 102 mm (h), in uniform-removed and very fine condition; a Reichsbahn Paygroup 12 shoulder board, constructed of red wool with a cardboard reinforcement, bearing two bands of gold bullion wire interwoven with black thread, as well as two black threaded bands interwoven with gold bullion wire, with two silvered bronze rank pips, unmarked, measuring 25 mm (w) x 116 mmm (l), in good condition; a Reichsbahn Köln (Cologne) sleeve insignia, constructed of black rayon, bearing a machine-embroidered gold thread Reichsbahn insignia, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; a Reichsbahn collar tab, constructed of black wool with a buckram core, trimmed with red piping, bearing a single zink insignia, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 58 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition; a Wehrmacht Gebirgsjäger Unteroffizier shoulder strap, constructed of a forest green wool, trimmed with a silver aluminum wire tresse and green piping, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 112 mm (l), in very fine condition; a Volkssturm armband, constructed of multi-coloured cotton, unmarked, measuring 195 mm (w) x 65 mm (h) as folded, in near extremely fine condition, and; a Prussian helmet insignia, constructed of silvered bronze, with central black enameled Prussian imperial eagle, circumscribed by gilt motto “SUUM CUIQUE” (“TO EACH HIS OWN”), unmarked, measuring 38 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
