What's a max bid?

Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Rank Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of eight rank insignia, including:

1. A matching set of Heer Flak/Artillery Hauptmann shoulder boards, each constructed of red wool with card stock cores, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with two gilded rank pips, the reverse of each bearing a strap with a reinforced buttonhole, both unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), with one rank pip replaced and some fatigue evident to the wire, in near extremely fine condition.

2. A matching set of Heer Flak/Artillery Officer collar tabs, each constructed of dark green wool with buckram cores and bearing machine-embroidered silver-grey insignia bisected by red tresses, both unmarked and measuring 40 mm (w) x 72 mm (l), an unusual non-wire example in unissued and near mint condition.

3. A matching set of Wehrmachtbeamte shoulder boards, each constructed of dark green wool with card stock cores, trimmed with off-white piping, and bearing four bands of silver aluminum wire piping bisected by a central green threaded band, the reverse of each with an integral strap, both unmarked and measuring 35 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.

4. A matching set of Sturmabteilung (SA) Fußstandarten Sturmführer-Hauptsturmführer shoulder boards, each constructed of grey wool with card stock cores and topped by four bands of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire piping, the reverse of each retaining fully-intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) labels bearing maker codes “A4/157” and secondary codes of “059465”, both measuring 32 mm (w) x 120 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.
