Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Insignia
(Insignien). A mixed lot of three uniform insignia, including: 1. A Heer sports shirt emblem, constructed of white cotton, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered black Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 30 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), with moderate soiling and material fatigue evident, in unissued and near extremely fine condition. 2. An NSDAP member’s armband, constructed of red wool, the exterior bearing a white rayon disc overlaid by a multi-piece black rayon mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a partially-intact Reichzeugmeisterei (RZM) label, measuring 49 cm (w) x 11 cm (h) in its unstitched condition, with minor soiling and material fatigue evident, in better than very fine condition. 3. A second NSDAP member’s armband, constructed of red cotton, the exterior bearing a white cotton disc overlaid by a multi-piece black cotton mobile swastika, the interior retaining a fully-intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a maker’s code of “A4/23”, measuring 20.5 cm (w) x 11 cm (h) when folded on a flat surface, in near extremely fine condition.
