Germany, Third Reich. A Set of Bahnschutz Visor Cap Insignia
(Bahnschutz Mützenabzeichen). A matching set of Bahnschutz visor cap insignia, including an eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, maker marked “C.T.D.” for Christian Theodor Dicke, Lüdenscheid, measuring 65 mm (w) x 27 mm (h), in near mint condition, and; a wreath, constructed of aluminum, the reverse retaining all four attachment prongs, set around a tricolour cockade with a red wool centrepiece, measuring 70 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; both affixed to a card stock backer with a typewritten inscription suggestive of a postwar Allied souvenir display piece.
