Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with blue enameled arms, the obverse with a central blue enameled disk overlaid by a silvered NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, on top of a silvered oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a blue enameled disc bearing a silvered inscription of “TREUE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“LOYALTY TO THE FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), with radiant designs joining the quadrants, the suspension ring maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “2” for C.E. Juncker, Berlin, measuring 43.02 mm (w) x 48.02 mm (h), weighing 28.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
