What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Gau München Erinnerungsabzeichen mit Etui). Constructed of bronzed tombak, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, wrapped with a ribbon bearing an inscription of “UND IHR HABT DOCH GESIEGT” (“AND AFTER ALL, YOU HAVE WON”), around a central mobile swastika superimposed on a hollow void, bearing a central date of “1933”, the reverse with a diagonal pinback, unmarked, measuring 35.37 mm in diameter, weighing 9.3 grams, accompanied by an unusual presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the interior with a white rayon lid liner, with a double-depressed red felt medal bed, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), the case has lost its hinge and which has disconnected the two halves, an interesting set in overall very fine condition.
