(Goldenes Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP). Constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, with a central black enameled mobile swastika on a white enameled disc, within a red enameled ring bearing an inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, stamped with a NSDAP membership number of “61626” for an unidentified individual, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by Josef Fuess, München, measuring 23.85 mm in diameter, weighing 7.7 grams, with minor scratching of the enamels evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
