A pair of Golden Party Badges, including a large version, constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, with a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, within a ring of red enamels bearing a gilt inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, engraved with a NSDAP membership number of “65659”, maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 30.42 mm in diameter, weighing 12.9 grams, in extremely fine condition; accompanied by a small version, constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, with a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, within a ring of red enamels bearing a gilt inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, engraved with a NSDAP membership number of “65659”, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by Josef Fuess, Munich, measuring 24.12 mm in diameter, weighing 7.9 grams, with scratching and flecking evident to the enamels, in better than very fine condition.
