(Goldenes Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP als Ehrenverleihung zum Jahrestag der Machtergreifung). An exceptionally rare Golden Party Badge, constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, set within a red enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), in turn surrounded by an additional white enameled ring, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, marked with the initials of the Führer, in turn situated above a date of “20. 1. 39” indicating a special presentation badge awarded at the former’s discretion on the anniversary of the rise to power of the NSDAP, measuring 30.58 mm in diameter, weighing 14.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
