(Schlageter Gednächtnis-Bund Abzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with a central Maltese Cross with ribbed arms, bearing a swastika circumscribed by an inscription of “SCHLAGETER GEDÄCHTNIS-BUND E.V.”, on top of an oval ring with inscriptions of “ALBERT LEO SCHLAGETER” and “26. MAI 1923-1933”, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with an issue number of “139”, an inscription of “SCHLAGETER GEDÄCHTNIS-BUND E.V. SITZ HANNOVER”, and a maker’s mark of “R. WÄCHTLER & LANGE, MITTWEIDA”, measuring 40.06 mm (w) x 51.84 mm (h), a rare badge in better than very fine condition.
