Germany, Third Reich. A 1938 Nuremberg Rally Commemorative Plaque with Case

(Reichsparteitag 1938 Erinnerungsplakette). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse depicting two raised figures, one of which is holding a flag and the other a length of broken chain, circumscribed by an inscription of “REICHSPARTEITAG 1938”, the reverse plain, unmarked, measuring 84 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original case of issue, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux black leather exterior, formerly opening with a magnetic metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a magnetic metal hinge, with a depressed blue doeskin medal bed, unmarked measuring 110 mm (w) x 104 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), the lid has been detached, in overall very fine condition.
