A rare mint and unissued 1937/1938 Diplomatic Corps Minister Level overcoat shoulder board; constructed of extremely fine quality flat, twisted, and round silver aluminum wires in the shape of a political eagle with outspread wings clutching a mobile wreathed swastika, with an ornate pattern of oak leaves and acorns; on a black wool backer and an invisible buckram core; a slip-on style tap with a large metal hook on the reverse; measuring 49 mm (w) x 109 mm (h); mint and unissued condition.
