Germany, NSDAP. A Set of Gau-Level Haupthelfer Collar Tabs
(NSDAP Kragenspiegel für Haupthelfer). A mis-matched set of Gau-level Haupthelfer collar tabs, each constructed of red wool with buckram cores, trimmed with Burgundy-red piping, and pinned with a singer gilded bronze NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, above a machine-embroidered gold bullion wire tresse bisected by red threading, the reverse of each tab retaining intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) labels, one with a partially-legible maker’s code beginning with “A4” and a secondary code of “255431”, the other with a maker’s code of “A4/28” and a secondary code of “381146”, each measuring mm 45 (w) x 70 mm (l), one tab demonstrating replaced piping in a slightly different shade along with a mis-matched eagle, in overall better than very fine condition.
