In zink; “978 Schw. Flak Ers. Abt. 36 N” stamped on both sides of the triple slotted tag; three drill holes; measuring 70 mm x 50 mm; easily legible and in extremely fine condition.
Footnote: The Wehrmacht Heavy Flak/Anti-Aircraft Reserve Division 36 was established in November 1938 in Wolfenbüttel. It first saw action during the invasion of France, and was later stationed on the eastern front. It was fully destroyed in June 1944.
