A second war German gold grade “Verwundetenabzeichen” miniature stick pin; oval shaped gilt bronze; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse with a 37 mm long knurled needle pin; measuring 18 mm x 19 mm; with approximately 70% of its original gilt intact; in overall better than very fine condition.
