A lot of War Merit Cross miniatures, including a Knight’s Cross of the War Merit Cross with Swords boutonniere, constructed of a silvered bronzed alloy, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, the twelve o’clock arm with an integral loop connecting to a suspension ring with a period original ribbon, affixed to a boutonniere with a maker’s mark of “STEINHAUER & LÜCK, LÜDENSCHEID”, the cross measuring 16.18 mm (w) x 17.46 mm (h); a stick pin, constructed of a silver bronze alloy, consisting of a War Merit Crosses, I Class with and without Swords, unmarked, measuring 17.45 mm (w) x 11.50 mm (h), and; a second stick pin of identical construction and composition, unmarked, measuring 17.58 mm (w) x 11.70 mm (h); accompanied by their period original private purchase presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux leather exterior, the interior with a padded white satin lid liner, with a beige felt medal bed, opening with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 122 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
