What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A NSKOV Pin, a ovular pin constructed of bronze, the centre bears a straight-armed cross paty with a central swastika, superimposed on a sword, encompassed by an oak leaf wreath, the reverse is marked “GES GESCH”” and bears a vertical pinback, measuring 15.37 mm (w) x 30.66 mm (h); A HJ Youth Festival Sports Event Pin 1939, an oblong pin constructed of aluminum, the obverse bears a diamond shape with a central swastik, encompassed by a “U”-shaped oak leaf wreath, with a banner inscribed with “1937” above is an eagle with outstretched wings, the reverse is marked “HILLENBRAND & BROER LUPENSHEID RZM M9/89”, with a vertical pinback, measuring 16.10 mm (w) x 26.68 mm (h); A Der Stahlhelm Veteran’s Association Supporter’s Pin; a pin shaped like a helmet, constructed of nickel-silver, the obverse reads “Der Stahlhelm”, the reverse is plain and bears a horizontal pinback, the bottom is marked “GES GESCH”, measuring 29.95 mm (w) x 16.60 mm (h); A HJ Jugendfest Badge 1934, an ovular ceramic badge, the obverse bears the insignia of the HJ with the date “21 Juni 1934”, the reverse is plain and bears a vertical pinback, measuring 17.75 mm (w) x 28.42 mm (h); all very fine.
