A second war German 12-Year Long Service Medal; circular gilded aluminum; on loop for suspension; with a correct replacement ribbon; the obverse with the German eagle in the centre, circumscribed in German Gothic lettering “Treue Dienste in der Wehrmacht” (Faithful Service in the Armed Forces); the reverse with the raised number “12” centrally within an oak wreath border; measuring 30.08 mm; weighing 11.3 grams; accompanied by its matching boutonniere; consisting of a blue ribbon tied into the shape of a bowtie; attached to a black bakelite button; measuring 30 mm x 15 mm; the medal ribbon bar with its blue cornflower-blue ribbon and gilded national eagle; metal core (nonmagnetic); red wool backer; horizontal pinback; measuring 25 mm x 17 mm; better than very fine condition.
