Germany, Third Reich. A Collection of Second War Period Miniature Stickpins
(Drittes Reich Abzeichen). A collection of four miniature stickpins, including a Silver Grade Panzer Assault Badge miniature stick pin, oval shaped with a silver finish, the obverse with a border of oak leaves with a tie at the base and a Panzerkampfwagen IV superimposed in the centre on grassy ground, with its left tank track extending over the edge of the badge, measuring 11 mm (w) x 17 mm (h), on a 49 mm long knurled pin, and in overall extremely fine condition. A Bronze Grade Panzer Assault Badge miniature stickpin, oval shaped with a silver finish, the obverse with a border of oak leaves with a tie at the base and a Panzerkampfwagen IV superimposed in the centre on grassy ground, with its left tank track extending over the edge of the badge, measuring 11 mm (w) x 17 mm (h), on a 41 mm long knurled pin, and in overall extremely fine condition. A General Assault Badge miniature stickpin, constructed of silvered zink, with an oak leaf border and a pair of acorns at the base, with a large Wehrmacht-style eagle with folded wings clutching a mobile swastika, and a crossed bayonet and stick grenade in the centre, the reverse plain, measuring 13 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), with a 52 mm long needle pin, and in overall extremely fine condition. A Third Reich stickpin with two miniature awards including an Iron Cross 1939 and Silver Grade Wound Badge, reverse marked L/18 for B.H. Mayer, measuring 15.5 mm (w) x 10 mm (h), on a 46 mm long needle, and in good condition.
