Klasse”; silver cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a white metal ribbed border; on loop for suspension; the obverse with a raised central mobile swastika with the re-institution date “1939” in raised numbering on the lower arm; the reverse with the original institution date “1813” in raised numbering on the lower arm; measuring 44.28 mm x 44.19 mm; court-mounted onto a medal bar with its period original ribbon; metal core (non-magnetic); light grey wool backer; maker marked “ECK - Frankfurt am Main, Liebfrauenstraße” on the reverse; horizontal pinback; moderate wear on the reverse core from rubbing onto the ribbon; extremely fine condition.(C:185)
