Silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, maker marked "65" (Klein & Quenzer A.G., Idar Oberstein) on the ring, 44.3 mm, original ribbon, surface rust, near extremely fine. Accompanied by its paper packet of issue, inscribed in black ink "Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse 1939" with the handwritten owner's name in red along the top edge on the front, inscribed in black ink with the "Klein & Quenzer A.-G., Oberstein." maker mark on the reverse, both inscriptions in Gothic text, undulated, packet very fine.
