(Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a raised date of “1939”, the reverse with all four attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 30.28 mm (w) x 31.06 mm (h), weighing 8.1 grams, some loss of finish evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
