What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, Stoffausführung). A cloth version of the German Cross in Gold issued to Heer personnel, consisting of a double-overlaid eight-pointed starburst pattern, with a field-grey wool base overlaid by machine-embroidered slate-grey threading, trimmed with machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire rays, with a central white cloth disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika executed in grey threading and trimmed with silver aluminum wire, set within a circular gilt laurel leaf wreath, the latter wrapped in ribbon and joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a date of “1941”, bordered on both the inner and outer edges by red threaded piping with an additional exterior silver aluminum wire fringe, the reverse retaining the remnants of a paper liner with a partially-visible maker’s logo, measuring 74 mm (w) x 72 mm (h), weighing 6.4 grams, with minor mothing evident to the obverse wool in addition to fatigue of the reverse liner, in very fine condition.
