What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, Stoffausführung). Instituted on 28 September 1941. (1941-1945 Issue). Consisting of an eight-pointed double-overlaid sunburst pattern constructed of dark grey wool and silver aluminum wire threading, with a central black machine-embroidered swastika trimmed with silver aluminum wire threading, on a white cotton disc, within a circular laurel leaf wreath constructed of gilded tombak, joined together at the bottom by a banner bearing an institution date of “1941”, with the wreath highlighted on both the inside and outside by read threading and twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), age-appropriate material fatigue evident, in fair condition.
