What's a max bid?

(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold mit Etui). Constructed of gilded and silvered tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a double-overlaid eight-pointed starburst executed with a silvered and patinated finish, surrounding a central silvered disc, overlaid by a black enameled mobile swastika, set within a circular gilded laurel leaf wreath wrapped in ribbon and joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a date of “1941”, in turn trimmed along the inner and outer edges with red enameled rings, the reverse with six visible rivets securing the obverse features in place, with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by Gebrüder Godet, Berlin, measuring 63.66 mm (w) x 63.02 mm (h), weighing 73.2 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted black felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 108 mm (w) x 108 mm (l) x 26 mm (h), a striking example in overall extremely fine condition.
