Germany. A Clasp to the Iron Cross 1939 Second Class; Second Type
(Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz 1939 2. Klasse). Constructed of silvered tombac; the obverse consisting of a German national eagle clutching a large wreathed mobile swastika, with a straight-edged banner at the base, dated “1939”; the reverse with all four prongs fully preserved; attached to its matching period ribbon; measuring 30.59 mm (w) x 30.62 mm (h); weighing 8.1 grams; in overall near extremely fine condition.
