An absolutely mint and unissued full length period original ribbon for an Iron Cross 1939 Second Class; the ribbon constructed of traditional black-white-red-white-red weaving; measuring 291 mm (w) x 31 mm (h); accompanied by its original wax paper of issue; with “Ban des Eisernen Kreuses 2. Klasse 1939” printed in black Gothic lettering on the obverse and “Carl Knoblauch, Bandfabrik, Berlin, C2, Bolstr. 23” on the reverse in the same style but smaller; measuring 74 mm (w) x 117 mm (h); in mint and unissued condition.
