Constructed of iron and silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse bears a vertical banjo-style pinback with a round wire catch, the reverse is marked “3” within a square indicative of the maker Wilhelm Deumer in Lüdensheid, measuring 43.82 mm (w) x 43.82 mm (h), weighing 15.5 grams; accompanied by a case constructed of black pebbled material with embossed iron cross paty on the exterior lid, with pin button latch, the interior lid of an off-white fabric and the metal bed of a cream/tan felt, measuring 68.70 mm (w) x 68.70 mm (h), very fine.
