A commemorative Anschluss medal for the annexation of Austria to the Third Reich (March 13, 1938); in silvered bronze; on loop for suspension; with its period-original ribbon featuring a horizontal pinback; measuring 32.31mm in diameter; weighing 16.1 grams; in its original case of issue; constructed of heavy card stock with a red faux leather (leatherette) exterior with a golden national eagle embossed on the outside of the lid; functional push button; intact interior hinge cover; functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 102 mm x 49 mm; overall better than extremely fine condition.
