A commemorative medal for the “return” of Memel to the Third Reich (March 22, 1938); in gilded bronze; on loop for suspension; with a mint period-original ribbon and a matching ribbon bar; measuring 32.20 mm in diameter; weighing 13.5 grams; in its original case of issue; constructed of heavy card stock with a red faux leather (leatherette) exterior with a golden national eagle embossed on the outside of the lid; functional push button; intact interior hinge cover; functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 100 mm x 49 mm; overall better than extremely fine condition.
