A 1940 commemorative table medal for the campaign in France; constructed of oven baked clay; the obverse with a tank driving over a hill-top, circumscribed “Zur Erinnerung an den Feldzug in Frankreich” (In remembrance of the campaign in France); the reverse with a central portrait of the Eiffel tower, circumscribed “Einnahme von Paris 14.Juni.1940” (Conquering of paris 14.June.1940); measuring 50.44 mm in diameter; weighing 16.0 grams; mint condition.
