An eight-pointed gold star constructed of gilded zink; the obverse depicting a six-leaved rosette, surrounded by a laurel wreath tied together at the bottom via a ribbon; the reverse plain, with a vertical slender pinback, a barrel hinge, and a flat wire catch; unmarked; measuring 49.76 mm (w) x 49.82 mm (h); weighing 23.7 grams; in overall good condition.
