A “Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42”; in silvered zink; on ring for suspension (marked “60” for Katz & Deyhle, Pforzheim); with a period-original ribbon; measuring 36.25 mm; weighing 19.2 grams. In its original paper packet of issue; with its original wrapper; the obverse of the packet with “Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42” printed in black lettering, and “Katz & Deyhle, Pforzheim” on the reverse; measuring 104 mm x 59 mm; very fine condition.
