(Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). An iron cross paty constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse centre bears the dates “1914 1918” encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, two upwards facing crossed swords lay in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is plain and marked “KM&F”, with loop for suspension on a red, black and white striped ribbon, measuring 37.62 mm (w) x 42.44 mm (h), very fine.
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 Award Document, on cream-coloured paper, awarded to the Educational Councillor Bruno Brinkmann in Parchim on 4 February 1935. The document is numbered “Nr. ab 381 / 35”, stamped and signed. Presenting one folding crease, with minimal creasing, slight discolouration at left side and two holes punched at the left side. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
