(Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). An iron cross paty constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse centre bears the dates “1914 1918” encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, two upwards facing crossed swords lay in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is plain and marked “PLS” within a circle border, with loop for suspension on a red, black and white striped ribbon, measuring 37.53 mm (w) x 43.59 mm (h), weighing 15.3 grams, very fine.
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 Award Document, on cream-coloured paper, awarded to the machinist Johannes Sievers in Rendsburg on 15 May 1935. The document is numbered “Nr. S.1089/35”, stamped and signed. Presenting four folding creases, with creasing throughout. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
