(Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). An iron cross paty constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse centre bears the dates “1914 918” encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, two upwards facing crossed swords lay in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is plain and marked “I.C.M.”, with loop for suspension, on a red, black and white striped ribbon, measuring 37.96 mm (w) x 42.29 mm (h), weighing 14 grams, very fine.
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 Award Document, on cream-coloured paper, awarded to the tram conductor Friedrich Horn in Kiel on 11 February 1935. The document is numbered “Nr. 8257/35”, stamped with the Police President stamp of Kiel and signed. Presenting a single central folding crease with creasing and minor scuffing at the corners. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
