(Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). An iron cross paty constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse centre bears the dates “1914 1918” encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, two upwards facing crossed swords lay in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is plain and marked “R.S.L.”, with loop for suspension on a red, black and white striped ribbon, measuring 37.15 mm (w) x 40.88 mm (h), very fine.
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 Award Document, on cream-coloured paper, awarded to the locksmith Otto Simon in Braunschweig on 30 April 1935. The document is numbered “Nr. 10 229 /35”, stamped and signed. Presenting a single folding crease, minimal creasing at edges, slight tear at bottom, measuring 211 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), very fine.
