What's a max bid?

Germany, Wehrmacht. A Close Combat Clasp, Gold Grade, by Funcke & Brüninghaus

(Nahkampfspange in Gold). Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of a central square oak leaf wreath, joined together at the top by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, on top of a magnetic metal backplate, flanked on each side by four sun rays and four oak leaves with acorns, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “F. & B. L.” for Funcke & Brüninghaus, Lüdenscheid, measuring 98.40 mm (w) x 26.68 mm (h), weighing 31.7 grams, moderate oxidation and loss of finish is evident and particularly apparent to the reverse owing to rubbing during wear, in overall very fine condition.
